Crew 445 is based in Arlington, Texas.  Crew 445 was founded in 2004.  Crew 445 is a coed unit, with both Scouts and non-Scouts active in the crew.  Crew 445 is chartered by Saint Barnabas United Methodist Church.  Crew 445 is a member of the Tejas District of the Longhorn Council.

Crew 445 is an outdoor enthusiast's dream crew.  Our program will include "super-activities"  including backpacking in the Rockies (both at Philmont Scout Ranch and in national wilderness areas), canoeing the Boundary Waters of the USA-Canadian border (Northern Tier), attending Sea Base in the Florida Keys.  Also, rock climbing and rappelling, kayaking, and any other high-adventure activity we can dream up.

Crew 445's program is completely youth led.  Our yearly and monthly planning is conducted by the youth leaders of the crew with the support of the adult advisors and crew committee members.  Each year the crew will participate in at least one super activity, and our yearly and monthly planning will revolve around this activity.  We will try to plan additional outings every month.

Crew 445 meets on Monday evenings every other week.  Meetings begin at 7pm and are currently held in the St. Barnabas UMC Family Life Center Room 215 (upstairs).  Meetings generally last about an hour.

Unless meeting plans dictate otherwise, Crew 445 meets at Saint Barnabas United Methodist Church in Arlington, Texas.  Saint Barnabas United Methodist Church is located at 5011 West Pleasant Ridge Road (N35o 30.108' W098o 58.597' WGS84).
